Maybe it’s time to install a little heater.


If you have gas in your garage a gas heater is probably the right solution.


In this video you’ll watch how to hang the heater and run the vent through the roof. Keep a 1″ clearance between the vent pipe and anything combustible.


Up on the roof you should also use high temp silicon to caulk the storm collar to the vent pipe.

A Must Have Belt Sander Jig

The problem is how to sand small pieces with your belt sander


This jig offers a portable take anywhere sanding solution.


Yes if your in your workshop and you have a vise on your work bench you can put the belt sander upside down in the vise.


I really like the 90° edge sanding feature of this jig.


I use a similar jig on the job to edge sand MDF pieces. I have a two foot fence before and after the belt sander which allows me to edge sand 8′ strips of MDF and keep the edges nice and straight.
