When I was in school back in the 60′s they taught us that the skin was a very protective layer against all the bad stuff out there in the world. It was a common belief years ago. In the past few decades it has become increasingly clear that that is not the case. Your skin, the largest organ in your body, actually can very easily allow chemicals to pass through it.
That my friends is why we need to be concerned what we put on our skin.
